Olamide – Criteria

YBNL Nation‘s Olamide is apparently on some music release galore as drops a new jam, “Criteria” barely a couple of days after his latest song, “Motigbana”.

Produced by Pheelz Mr Producer, “Criteria” is a love song that got Olamide in the singing mode. The rapper understanding his craft isn’t ready to bore us with just one pattern of music. We’ve recieved three different musical tracks from Olamide in just a week and they are different shades of music.

Former Arsenal coach, Arsene Wenger who spent 22 years with the club has said he regrets saying in the club for this period of time.

In an interview monitored on Sky News, the former Arsenal Manager was quoted to have said, “I regret having sacrificed everything I did because I realize I’ve hurt a lot of people around me. Deep down though, the obsessed man is selfish in his pursuit of what he loves. He ignores a lot of other things. But it’s a bone to chase at the same time.” 

The Frenchman, who is still without a club, said he would make a decision on his future in the next few months. When asked about the biggest error of his career, Wenger replied: “Perhaps staying at the same club for 22 years.” 

Wenger said he’d had “numerous” opportunities to take charge of France, but he turned them down because he had “always been more interested in the day-to-day aspect of management”.

Horrible! Armed Robbers In Army Uniforms Attack Youth Corpers In Their Lodge

Some members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) were left injured and in pains after an attack from armed robbers on Sunday, July 15 at CSS Ozalla, Igbo-etiti lga in Enugu state.

According to reports, the armed robbers were dressed in army uniforms in order to operate without any hindrance.

They attacked the harmless corpers who were resting in their lodge that early morning before injuring those they felt didn’t comply well.

The corpers are calling on the NYSC and government to come to their aid by providing adequate security for them while serving their Father land in the village.

Flood kills eight people in Niger State

The Police Command in Niger says eight persons have died as a result of a downpour in Rafin-Gora village in Kontagora Local Government Area of the state. 

The Police Commissioner, Alhaji Dibal Yakadi, told the News Agency of Nigeria in Minna on Monday that two bodies of the victims had been recovered. 

Yakadi said that the deceased were washed away by flood from the heavy rain which occurred on Monday evening. He added that the search and rescue operation was ongoing to recover the remaining missing bodies.

See New Look Of Girl Who Was Attacked By Female Cultists After Undergoing Surgery

The 16-year-old girl, Lilian Friday who was attacked by suspected female cultists believed to be between the ages of 14 to 16 years for refusing to identify and join their cult group in Otuoke community, Ogbia, Bayelsa state – has undergone a successful plastic surgery to her right eyelids that was damaged.

Lilian, a native of Otuoke and Emeyal community in Ogbia local government area of the state, an ss1 student of community secondary school, Otuoke was said to have been attacked by a group of suspected female cultists led by one Josephine on the 26th of April, 2018 for refusing to be one of them.

When members of Patriotism Advancement and Community Orientation Network (PACON) got wind of the incident, they visited the victim and her family on April 26th in the hospital where she was taken to unconscious after the gang left her in a pool of her own blood and with a damaged eye. PACON had promised to assist the family of Lilian with the medical bills and to initiate a public campaign for financial support for Lilian should there be need for plastic surgery.

On the 24th of June, 2018, PACON was informed through a phone call from Mrs. Igbogi Progress (Lilian’s mother) that Lilian had been penciled for a surgical operation on 26th of June, 2018. The amount needed for the operation was Three hundred thousand naira (300,000.00) only at Niger Delta University Teaching Hospital (NDUTH).

The organization with the informed consent and approval of the parents through its social media handles appealed for financial assistance which the public responded to and on 27th of June, same year, the sum of ₦265,000.00 was donated into Mrs. Igbogi Progress, Guarantee Trust Bank account which was made public by the organization.

On the 28th of June, the parents withdrew Lilian from NDUTH due to want of medical equipment to carry out the said surgery to Ark Hospital in Yenagoa were the operation was successfully carried out for a fee of One hundred thousand naira (₦100,000.00) only.
PACON paid Lilian a visit once again in her hometown today, 1st July, 2018. Attached herewith are pictures from the visit with the second photo showing Lilian Friday after the successful surgical operation.

Pipeline explosion rocks Ilara community in Ogun State

A massive explosion rocked Ilara area near Ogijo in Ogun State after a vandalised pipeline exploded. The explosion occured at about 10pm on Sunday and fire was still raging as at 3am on Monday.

 According to reports, the pipeline was vandalized sometime last week and the valve was left open with fuel gushing out unhindered. Sources claimed the community did not report the case as they should  have. 

Details are still sketchy as to what caused the vandalised pipeline to explode but residents of the area were said to have fled their homes to safety as fire spread. When contacted, the Commander, 174 Battalion, Lieutenant Colonel Benedict Ezeh, said he had already called the area manager at Mosimi Depot to immediately shut down the pipeline as a first measure towards extinguishing the inferno.

He said the battalion received distress calls from residents of the area about the massive explosion.

Super Eagles To Receive N3Billion For Crashing Out Of World Cup

According to reports, FIFA will be giving the Super Eagles of Nigeria and other teams that crashed out of World Cup in group stage the sum of 6.1 million Euro.

In Naira, 6.1 million Euro is equivalent to N2,900,694,204.000. This means, the Super Eagles of Nigeria team is approximately N3Billion Naira richer despite their early crash out at the World Cup.

If Ighalo had utilized the chances he had and the team qualified for the round of 16 stage, the Super Eagles would be entitled to 9.1 million Euro which is N4,327,265,124.000.

Meanwhile, at the end of the World Cup, the Nation that wins is expected to receive 28 million Euro from FIFA.
