Police arrest banana trader for kidnapping 3-yr-old boy in Imo state

A banana trader, Chibuzor Eze, has been arrested by the Imo State Police for kidnapping a 3-year-old boy who she sold for N450,000.
Eze, who hails from Umuifa village in Oru-East Local Government Area of the state is reported to be a family friend of the boy's family.
According to a family member of the victim who spoke to Punch News, the boy was playing at his residence when the woman took him away to Owerri, the state capital.

Her luck ran out when a lady who lives in the community where the boy was taken spotted her and raised an alarm.

Benjamin Nkemakolam, the grandfather of the boy was full of shock concerning the boy's abduction.
He was surprised that such a deed was perpetrated by someone who was very close to his family.
She reportedly joined a search party organised to look for the child according to the boy's uncle, Chigozie Nkemakolam.
